Dr. Christina Whitsett is so pleased to be joining the Affinity Dental team. Dr. Whitsett graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2007, then earned her certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry through a residency program at University Hospital Cincinnati. For the past 12 years, Dr. Whitsett owned a private dental practice in Shelbyville, Kentucky. After more than a decade of practice ownership, she is happy to be able to balance her work and family life by joining Affinity Dental.

Dr. Whitsett is a native of Louisville though she now lives in Shelbyville with her husband, three children, and beloved boxer dog, Benny. She enjoys spending time with her family, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and crossword puzzles. She loves many facets of dentistry; however, getting to know her patients and developing long-lasting relationships with them is most important to her.

Dr. Amanda Madyara

Dr. Amanda Madyara is a dentist and University of Louisville General Practice Residency (GPR) graduate. A proud graduate of Howard University College of Dentistry, she brings more than 15 years of experience in the dental field, along with a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and real-world perspective to every patient interaction.
 
Her residency experience expanded her clinical skills and provided valuable hospital-based experience, including caring for medically complex patients and gaining a deeper understanding of how to recognize and manage medical emergencies that can arise in the dental setting. 
 
With her bubbly personality, warm smile, and natural ability to make people feel at ease, Dr. Madyara believes going to the dentist should be anything but intimidating. She strives to create a relaxed, judgment-free environment where patients can feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their concerns. She enjoys building meaningful relationships with her patients and believes that trust and communication are essential to helping patients make confident decisions about their oral health.
 
One of Dr. Madyara’s greatest accomplishments is being the proud mom of her amazing 15-year-old daughter, Melisa. Earning her dental degree at 35 while raising her daughter was a journey that shaped her into the resilient, driven, and empathetic provider she is today.
 
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Madyara enjoys movie nights, relaxing at home, spa days, and traveling—especially to beautiful beaches. She is also a proud new dog mom after adopting her adorable Chihuahua. Between dentistry, family, travel, and her four-legged sidekick, she has plenty of reasons to keep smiling!

Dr. Daniel Stearns, DMD

Dr. Stearns is a third-generation dentist originally from New Jersey. He completed his undergraduate work at Ramapo College before earning his D.M.D in 2017 at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, the Alma matter of his father and great uncle.

Following dental school, he decided to pursue a 1-year AEGD residency at NYU College of Dentistry where he further advanced his skills in all aspects of general dentistry. He has continually taken part in continuing education on topics such as invisalign and clear aligners, restorative and implant dentistry, and endodontics. He worked in private practice in midtown Manhattan and northern New Jersey for 3 years before moving to Lexington, KY so his wife could complete her dental training at UK.

They have now settled in the Louisville area with their Wire Fox Terrier Mr. Bob. Dr. Stearns is excited to be able to serve the community in Eminence for all their dental needs.
